This is my very first beauty review! I wanted to do a review on something that is an essential product, mascara primer!
What is mascara primer? Mascara primer is an eyelash primer to help in prepping the lashes for mascara. Mascara primers prevent mascara fall off, help in lengthening, volumizing, and curling the lashes. When applying mascara primer my general rule is to wait five (5) seconds before applying mascara. If you wait longer your lashes will get dry and it will become hard to apply mascara.
I recently picked up the Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum, and Lancome Cils Booster XL from Sephora.
The Sales Rep. told me about Diorshow, how it’s supposed to do all of what a mascara primer is to do, and how it’s supposed to promote lash growth. So I bought it! Who doesn’t love long lashes!
Comparing it to Lancome, I didn’t like the Diorshow mascara primer because of the brush. I wasn’t getting much product on my eyelashes. Where as with the Lancome Cils Booster brush I get the right amount of product on my eyelashes. If your lashes are primed properly you can apply several coats of mascara. Which really helps in applying several coats of mascara.
I really wanted to love the Diorshow but couldn’t maybe if they switch the brush I would give it another go, or maybe if you use another wand.
